DHAKA: Bombs have torn through four movie theatres packed with Muslims celebrating the end of Ramadan, killing at least 15 people and wounding 200.
Police said the bombs went off within 30 minutes of each other from about 6pm on Saturday and were believed to have been planted in the projection rooms of the theatres.
The theatres in the town of Mymensingh, about 110km north of the Bangladesh capital, Dhaka, were crowded with people celebrating the Islamic festival Eid-al-Fitr.
