IN news that should have Friends addicts queuing up outside movie theatres, Hollywood's favourite haircut, Jennifer Aniston, is poised to appear in her first on-screen sex scene.

In a departure from her customary family friendly roles, The Friends star will get down and dirty in her new movie, The Good Girl.

Aniston plays a depressed shop assistant who tries to alleviate the boredom of her jaded marriage by bonking a social misfit co-worker 10 years her junior ... as you do!

It's an abrupt about-face for the 33-year-old star, who only recently successfully sued an American tabloid for publishing photographs of her sunbaking topless in her backyard.

``I wanted to prove, to myself most of all, that I could try something different," she told News of the World magazine.

True to nauseatingly contented form, Aniston's heart-throb husband Brad Pitt has been nothing but supportive of his wife's semi-naked film romp with 21-year-old actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

``Brad was just like, `Be nice to the guy. He's only a kid!'," she said.
